LCHS Hosts Music Festival, Competition
La Cañada High School recently hosted its 7-12 Band and Orchestra Festival Concert. Music director Jason Stone, orchestra conductor Jennifer Munday and conductor James Myers brought the performance to the auditorium.
The student groups were judged on performance and sight reading. Other schools also participated.
The varied program began with Brandenburg Concerto No. 2 by Bach and concluded with Variations on a Korean Folk Song by John Barnes Chance.
