Huntington Charity League Goes ‘Glitz and Glam’

Saturday night’s Huntington Charity League Patron Cocktail Reception “Glitz and Glam” was a huge success. It was the group’s first major event since officially transitioning from its previous existence as NCL Juniors of San Marino. Guests took part in a silent auction with items ranging from wine lockers to trips to Paris and Africa. President Cori Solan introduced guest speakers Gretchen Shepherd Romey, who urged continued voluntarism from members of the community, and Dr. Jamie Powers, who spoke of the need for groups such as HCL to sustain and support Huntington Hospital. HCL is committed to ongoing support for Huntington Hospital, its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Parent Connection organization and scholarships.
