SMHS Parents Rock Out for ‘Totally ’80s’
The San Marino High School “Totally ’80s” parent party was held recently at the home of Amy and Jules Buenabenta. Co-chairs Nicolette Fuerst, Marci Wendling, Kim Sutherland and Stacey Conzonire, along with their committee, put together a fun, tubular event.
Guests rocked out as the band Fast Times played, chilled in the Purple Rain lounge, bid on live-auction items and delighted in fare from Pie ’n Burger. Arriving in 1980s attire, attendees sported big hair, acid-washed denim and lots of neon. The enthusiastic parents partied for a cause, raising an impressive amount to meet the school’s continuing costs of maintaining, updating and purchasing new technology.
